My printmaking is focused on the monotype process, where each piece is essentially a unique, one-of-a-kind print not capable of editioning. All are printed using an etching press. Some (Borders, Go Figure) are made with multiple passes through the press, each adding a new layer to the print. Others (City Simulacrum, Natrual Visions, Abstractly) are made with a single pass on the press. These are created using the collagraph plate process, some adding the chiné-colle process with a variety of washi papers.

My photographic prints are all handmade by me using a hybrid of 20th century technology (digital negatives) and 19th century processing to create one-of-a-kind prints. The size of the print is the size of the negative. These prints are the most archival photographic prints possible.
